Kalixa introduced Ukash as its new payment partner, enabling Kalixa cardholders to make safe and instant deposits into their eAccount.
With Ukash, Kalixa provides cardholders the opportunity to top up their prepaid MasterCard® by simply purchasing a voucher, which can be done in cash at local Ukash agents, wherever a PayPoint, Payzone or epay logo is displayed. Ukash is available from hundreds of thousands of global locations, such as shops, kiosks, petrol stations or at post offices.
Suresh Vaghjiani, Head of Product Management, explains:
“The advantage which Ukash offers our Kalixa cardholders is the convenience of being able to top up Kalixa without using their bank account or credit/debit card. By exchanging cash for a Ukash voucher, a high level of privacy is guaranteed, as no financial information has to be provided. Cardholders then simply log into their Kalixa eAccount and enter their 19 digit voucher code and the voucher value they wish to load. The funds are instantly available to use from their Kalixa Card.”
Ukash complements Kalixa’s wide range of load methods, spanning from bank transfer and credit/debit cards to wallets and payment vouchers. During a trial period until the 1st of September, Kalixa is offering cardholders the opportunity to try Ukash for free.
